In the beginning....

I founded this company for a few reasons. I myself am a product of generous people stepping out of their way to steer me on the right path. As a young teenager, my father passed away from Lou Gehrig’s disease (ALS) and as you can imagine, it affected me a great deal. In so much hurt, I turned to the game of basketball to ease my pain.
Throughout high school, many kind hearts helped me along the way. God placed many people in my life whether it was a coach, teacher, police officer, or principal, they all inspired me to achieve my goals. Those experiences and people have stayed with me my whole life, which molded me into the man I am today.

It inspired me to create Perseverance Basketball for the sole purpose of giving back that same passion, dedication, and love that every child deserves.

Additionally, as a former high school basketball coach in Palm Beach County, I have been able to see first hand the direction the game of basketball is headed. I have noticed that the majority of travel teams, trainers, and coaches are getting away from the fundamentals of basketball. I feel an obligation to teach the game the right way and which led me to establish Perseverance Basketball. With the purpose of reestablishing and instructing the fundamentals of basketball to athletes of all ages and skill levels.
